As a Housekeeper (Deck Night Crew) you will be responsible for ensuring your team are motivated to deliver the required high levels of cleanliness at all times, and providing our guests with excellent service! This role could be working in our guest accommodation areas, crew areas or overnight. As a Housekeeper Deck Night Crew you will report into the Assistant Housekeeping Manager reporting on any successes and issues. You will have a team of Hotel Assistants, Assistant Butlers, Stewards and Butlers and must ensure a reliable, happy, motivated and inclusive culture amongst everyone.
You will be a hero of safety and wellbeing at work, and will be held accountable for completing regular audit checks within the department and monitoring policies and procedures to ensure that we are complying with legal requirements.

To join Cunard in this fantastic role you must have the following:
- Have significant experience in a supervisory/management on a luxury 4 - 5 star cruise line
- Work well under pressure, continually strive to improve passenger satisfaction scores and effectively resolve issues or complaints
- Working knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment, chemical handling and public health standards.
- Good command of written and spoken English

With a new ship on the horizon, we are planning ahead, this means that the role you are applying for is in our Talent Pool. Carnival UK require all crew, joining any of our vessels, to be fully vaccinated with a primary series of any WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination as a minimum to ensure you continue to have the best protection against COVID-19, and to protect those around you. COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are proven to be effective at reducing the risk of infection, serious illness, hospitalisation and death from COVID-19 therefore we highly recommend that all crew are fully up to date with all available COVID-19 boosters when eligible.
Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
