• Role: Assistant Maître D’
• Cruise line: 5* Cruise liner
• Reporting to: Maître D’
• Reports: Assigned restaurant team
• Salary: Base salary is $1788USD per month worked + gratuity and commission which could be to earn up to $5,000USD per month* – this sum is NOT guaranteed* Total salary depends on ship itinerary, guest satisfaction rate, restaurant revenue, individual performance.
• Rotation: 26 weeks onboard and 8 weeks’ vacation.
• Berthing: Single Cabin (except on board Millennium ships – they share a cabin)
• Stripes: 2 stripes.
• Benefits: All flight tickets provided by the host company, reimbursement of US C1/D visa, AMAZING life experience.
• Required: You to adhere to the cruise line company COVID vaccination policy.
• Expenses: You to fund: A US C1/D visa (reimbursed if successful to board), a cruise medical, an STCW certificate, a police background.

You the BRILLIANT Assistant Maître D’

• You will most likely have worked at sea on a cruise liner before – perhaps as a senior waiter or Assistant Maître D before
• You will have experience of leading a team of 30+ in a restaurant operation
• You will speak fluent English and any additional language is a plus
• You are enthusiastic, keen and eager to work 7 days a week and offer service-excellence to the guests.
• You will currently be on land.
