The position is responsible for assisting the Digital Communication Manager (DCM) with all onboard
marketing and communications materials, ensuring consistency with the company's brand identity
strategy.
This role is further responsible for the maintenance of the Digital app, the Celebrity Today content,
Digital Signage Systems, and working with the Digital Communication Manager to ensure both digital
and print versions are functioning as intended.
The role will ensure Digital Signage Systems, shipwide, are maintained and report back any
deficiencies to the DCM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Under guidance of the DCM:
o Testing of new app releases on both IOS and Android operating systems, ensuring the
new code has not impacted existing functionality.
o Testing of new products added to the app, including bug fixes. Implement go-to-market
strategy and marketing efforts for each new product. Collaborate with product owners
responsible for new products to ensure seamless integration.
o Conducting post-voyage testing to verify the accuracy of sailing information for upcoming
sailings. Ensure data is properly exchanged between the MCC and SilverWhere systems.
o Validate map accuracy periodically and update when venue changes occur.
o Complete app “Health Checklist” daily to verify app is working as intended.
o Participate in grid meetings to guarantee the capture of product owner activations for
both app and print and join Revenue Marketing Director and Onboard Revenue team
meetings as needed.
o Ensure that all app sections and content, printed collateral, and digital signage are
consistently up-to-date and accurate.
o Input content for each sailing, ensuring that at least the current cruise and one additional
cruise are populated at all times. Obtain venue operating hours from product owners and enter them accordingly. Confirm the consistency of content between digital and printed
material.
o Approve all stateroom collateral in line with the stateroom print collateral policy.
 Support embarkation activities to assist guests in accessing internet and app.
 Prepare End-of-Voyage report for Revenue Marketing Director to add to master report for ship
and shoreside management teams.
 Work with internal and external partners to ensure new to cruise items are updated and captured
on digital and print mediums.
 Reviews and edits all marketing and communications collateral prior to printing and distribution
to ensure alignment with the company’s brand identity strategy
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with onboard partners and vendors to ensure seamless
integration of promotional campaigns and guest experiences.
 Participate in special events, theme nights, and other guest-focused activities as needed to
enhance the overall cruise experience.
