Your Purpose
As a Broadcast Technician/ITV Coordinator, your role is essential in maintaining onboard entertainment systems, ensuring TV and satellite signals run smoothly throughout the ship. You’ll oversee TV systems in guest cabins, ensuring guests enjoy uninterrupted service. Your main responsibility will be to maintain and troubleshoot broadcast equipment, keeping everything working perfectly for an exceptional onboard experience.
Your Impact
As a Broadcast Technician/ITV Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional onboard entertainment for our guests. Your expertise ensures that TV systems and satellite signals across the ship function seamlessly, contributing directly to a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. You’ll be the go-to person for maintaining and troubleshooting all broadcasting equipment, ensuring that every guest cabin has uninterrupted access to their entertainment options. Your proactive approach to monitoring, repairing, and optimizing systems will help maintain the high standards our cruise line is known for, ultimately enhancing guest satisfaction and comfort.
Your Journey So Far
To succeed in this role, you should have the following background:
Previous experience in a similar role, managing broadcast systems or ITV technology.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TV systems, satellite signals, and broadcast equipment maintenance.
Industry Experience: Ideally, you have worked in the hospitality or cruise industry, where you understand the technical requirements of onboard entertainment.
Problem-Solving: Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing issues with TV and broadcast systems.
Your Essentials
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
English is required for communication with guests and team members.
Previous experience in a similar broadcast technician or ITV role.
Skills: Problem solving abilities and a solid understanding of ITV and satellite systems.
Communication: Able to clearly report technical issues and coordinate with different teams.
