Your Purpose
The Onboard Project Coordinator supports the MSC Foundation activities on board of the MSC Foundation fleet with a specific focus on the on-board fund-raising campaign, representing one of the main sources of income for the MSC Foundation. In this position you are in charge of the coordination of the MSC Foundation staff on board, to ensure effective coordination with departments internally (such as Product Development & Guest Experience, retail, onboard finance, onboard marketing), to provide the MSC Foundation staff on board with the latest material and information about the MSC Foundation work and initiatives.
Your Impact
Onboard fundraising campaign
- Analyse results, trends and provide reports and presentations on performance.
- implement new fundraising strategies and opportunities for MSC Foundation onboard (events, other internal systems).
- Implement a variety of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
Project planning and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Maintaining communication channels with project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, team members, and other relevant parties. Providing regular project updates, status reports, and progress reviews.
- Manage execution and follow up of different activities and projects with internal departments such as retail, on board finance, New Build, procurement, on board marketing and all the others stated above.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
Team coordination and management
- Coordinate and manage the MSC Foundation team onboard and functioning as a focal point for them in case of any content related queries (NOT HR-specific).
- Organise and manage the monthly call & field trips as part of the employment engagement activities.
Your Journey so far
- Bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in the fields of international relations, affairs, public administration.
- Problem solving.

- Communicating with impact and respect.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Your Essentials
- Solid organizational and coordination skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Proven experience in working with not-for-profit sector and corporate foundations.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
