Program Hostess

Your Purpose

As a Program Publisher / Program Hostess, you will be the voice and bridge of communication between the cruise experience and our guests. Under the guidance of the Cruise Director, you will ensure that guests are always informed and engaged by curating, editing, and translating the ship’s Daily Program and Daily Specials. Your role is essential in maintaining the seamless flow of information, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for all guests onboard. Through your expertise in multilingual communication and attention to detail, you contribute to creating an unforgettable experience for every guest sailing with us. 

Your Impact

Your work is the heartbeat of onboard guest communication, making every guest feel informed and connected to the ship’s activities, entertainment, and services. You will be responsible for editing and translating essential guest-facing materials in multiple languages, ensuring clarity and compliance with the company’s high standards. Your ability to craft engaging and precise communication will enhance the guest experience, making their journey smoother and more enjoyable. Through your dedication, guests will always have up-to-date and well-presented information, allowing them to make the most of their cruise experience. 

Your Journey So Far

To succeed in this role, you’ll need: 

Proven experience as a Program Publisher, Program Hostess, or in a similar role onboard a cruise line or in a comparable land-based hospitality or tourism position. 

Strong background in editing, translating, and formatting guest information materials with attention to detail and accuracy. 

Experience working with multilingual content to ensure seamless and professional communication for an international audience. 

Proven ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. 

Familiarity with digital publishing tools and formatting software is a plus. 

Your Essentials

To succeed in this role, you’ll need: 

Fluency in English (written and spoken) and at least one additional European language. 

Excellent editing, proofreading, and translation skills to produce clear and engaging communication. 

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

A keen eye for detail and consistency in written communication. 

A team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, ready to collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth information flow. 

A passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience through effective and engaging content.
