Your Purpose

The Revenue Optimisation Specialist is responsible for driving incremental revenue and margin growth within the On Board Revenue (OBR) departments (e.g. Beverage, SPA, Restaurant, Excursion, etc) across all onboard and prepaid channels. Working closely with the Revenue Optimisation Manager, this role ensures that pricing, yield, promotions, and system configurations are optimised to meet commercial targets while delivering seamless guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have a background in pricing strategy, revenue management, and sales performance optimisation in the travel, cruise, or hospitality industry.

Your Impact

• Yeld managment and Pricing: 
Develop and maintain category specific pricing strategies based on historical performance, forecasts, and competitive benchmarking.
Implement dynamic pricing rules within the OBS platform to adjust OBR prices based on penetration level, sailing seasonality, and guest segmentation.

• Sales monitoring for different cruises/canvases (both prepaid and board):
Track and analyse OBR sales performance across different ships and sailings, prepaid and onboard.
Produce daily/weekly dashboards/reports highlighting key metrics trend per sailing (e.g., penetration level, revenue and average spend per day) and identify variances against forecast.

• Discount & Promotion management:
Manage, and evaluate tactical promotions to stimulate incremental volume and optimise margin.
Coordinate with Marketing and Guest Engagement teams to align promotional calendars and ensure consistent messaging.

• Cross Functional Collaboration
Liaise with Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies.
Act as the subject matter expert for beverage revenue levers in commercial project teams.

• Innovation & Best Practices: 
Stay updated on industry trends, leveraging best practices in revenue optimisation to enhance business performance.

Your Journey so far

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Revenue Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or a related field within the travel, cruise, or hospitality industry. Experience on OBR will be a plus.

Your Essentials

• Good analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with expertise in revenue forecasting and dynamic pricing models.
• Proficiency in revenue management systems, pricing tools, and business intelligence software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Digital Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced commercial environment.
• EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland
