As a Commis II Pan Asian, you will bring the vibrant flavors of Pan-Asian cuisine to life, ensuring guests enjoy authentic, high-quality dishes with every meal. Your Impact
Deliver authentic Pan-Asian cuisine with consistency in taste, presentation, and quality while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining an organized work environment. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and team to create an outstanding culinary experience, contributing to menu innovation with diverse and flavorful dishes. Ensure efficiency in food preparation, minimizing waste while upholding the cruise line’s reputation for excellence through dedication, skill, and passion.
Your Journey So Far
Proven experience in the same or a similar role, either onboard a cruise ship or in an international 5-star hotel or major resort.
Formal culinary training or equivalent professional certification in Asian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of Pan-Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional preparation methods.
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment, handling multiple orders with speed and accuracy.
Ability to follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and company standards while ensuring exceptional food quality.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Your Essentials
Relevant culinary qualifications with a focus on Pan-Asian cuisine.
Fluency in English (oral and written) to communicate effectively with the team and maintain compliance with company procedures.
Proven experience in a similar position in a cruise ship, international 5-star hotel, or major resort.
Deep understanding of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and HACCP regulations.
