Your Purpose

As Entertainment Operations Director you will lead the day-to-day management of MSC Creative Studios in Edinburgh, overseeing facility operations, team leadership, and alignment with wider UK Entertainment activities. You will drive high standards of delivery while fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative creative environment, ensuring full alignment with MSC’s operational and cultural standards.

Your Impact

•    Lead, develop and manage a growing multidisciplinary team within a creative studio environment
•    Act as a key point of contact with MSC’s global structure, ensuring strong communication and alignment
•    Oversee daily planning, scheduling and venue management across a multi studio rehearsal facility
•    Manage and control operational budgets, ensuring efficiency and value delivery
•    Oversee supplier relationships, contracts and service standards
•    Ensure all operations meet health, safety and compliance standards
•    Support the delivery of high quality rehearsal, training and production activity

Your Journey so far

•    Experience at Director/Senior Manager level within a creative, performance, or educational facility
•    Demonstrated experience managing complex operations and large teams
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

Your Essentials

•    Experience within entertainment, cruise, maritime, hospitality or large scale venue operations
•    Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international teams
•    Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
•    Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification/experience
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•    Fluent English required, additional languages are an advantage
•    Willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasion
•    Existing right to live and work in the UK
