Facility Specialist

Your Purpose

Join our MSC Cruises Excellence Hub in Valencia as a Facility Specialist, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-managed workplace environment that supports the daily operations of a high-performing, fast-paced hub. You will play a key role in coordinating site services, resolving facility-related issues, and maintaining an optimal working environment for our teams. 

This is a hands-on, service-oriented role where you will support the smooth functioning of the hub by overseeing workplace conditions, coordinating vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensuring that employees can operate in a productive and welcoming environment. In a dynamic and multilingual setting, you will combine operational rigor with strong ownership and a proactive mindset. 

Your Impact

Facility Operations & Workplace Support

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the Hub
• Monitor office spaces, meeting rooms, common areas, and building services to maintain a safe and efficient workplace
• Coordinate timely resolution of facility issues, maintenance needs, and service requests
• Support the implementation of workplace standards, space planning, and office readiness activities

Vendor & Service Coordination

• Manage relationships with facility vendors and service providers, including cleaning, maintenance, security, catering, and workplace services
• Follow up on service quality, response times, and issue resolution to ensure high operational standards.
• Support procurement and service contract coordination in line with Hub requirements
• Escalate critical issues and track vendor performance where needed

Health, Safety and Compliance

• Support compliance with health, safety and workspace regulations
• Monitor facility conditions to ensure a safe and secure environment for employee experience
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on emergency procedures, safety checks, and site related compliance actions
• Help maintain documentation related to facility processes, inspections, and safety standards

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency, service quality, and employee experience
• Support space optimization, equipment readiness, and workplace setup for new hires, meetings, and special events
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to hub infrastructure and support services
• Work closely with local leadership and internal teams to ensure the facility supports business continuity and operational needs 

Your Journey so far

Experience & Background

• Experience in facilities management, workplace operations, office coordination, or similar support roles is highly valued
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented, or international environment is a strong advantage
• Exposure to vendor management, office administration, or workplace services is preferred
• Experience supporting multi-functional teams in a dynamic operational setting is a plus
