We are currently searching for Marketing and Revenue Managers to join our team. This position requires a strong ability to analyze revenue streams and related business programs, as well as a competitive attitude and a desire to win! 

The ultimate focus of our Marketing and Revenue Managers is to develop or adjust strategies and tactics to increase shipboard spending.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Directs the overall onboard revenue function onboard the vessel and responsible for achieving and exceeding set revenue targets.
  • Analyzes all revenue generating activities to develop or adjust strategies and tactics for increased guest spend.
  • Develops and implements plans to improve or increase the revenue areas onboard the vessel.
  • Works directly with Cruise Director and Hotel Director to identify optimal scheduling opportunities and locations for revenue generation. 
  • Meets regularly with onboard management team to review strategies for exceeding revenue forecasts and increasing revenue performance.
  • Presents analysis and marketing promotion plans for discussion, approval and implementation with shipboard and shore side teams.
  • Tracks performance of plans, reports findings to management team and makes recommendations for implementing and/or adjusting plans for future utilization.
  • Works with the management teams to formulate operating decisions using analytical data available such as demographics, ticket revenue yields, and guest mix.
  • Utilizes pre cruise guest information to match up guest data with optimal revenue.  For example, using the WOW report onboard to ensure that we are targeting the right product to the right guest.
  • Provide revenue analytics to the Bar Manager and the Restaurant Operations Manager through regular meetings and interactions to ensure full optimization of daily revenue.
  • Works with the Training and Development Manager to implement sales related training programs for employees and management.
  • Communicates directly with revenue partner shore side management teams on issues related to revenue areas onboard.

Hiring requirements:

  • Minimum of three to five years experience in marketing promotions, market research, and/or sales analysis.
  • Experience in the cruise, travel, resort, restaurant, bar or amusement/theme park industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to accommodate a four months on / two months off contract schedule for this onboard position
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college, university is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly.  Knowledge of a foreign language is preferred, particularly Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and/or Japanese. 
  • All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa  (and other relevant visas) when applicable
  • Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.
