Accommodation Manager (m/f)

As Accommodation Manager you in charge of the Housekeeping Department and responsible for the overall cleanliness of all the rooms and public areas, offices, staff and crew facilities. You motivate train and supervise the entire housekeeping department by assigning duties, inspecting work and investigating complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes action on demands. You are in responsible for the housekeeping stock on board, you provide guidance towards meeting the sanitary standards.  As an Accommodation Manager you report directly to the Hotel Manager.

Tasks

• Ensuring that accommodation is clean, well maintained and attractively presented
• Follow all sanitation proceedures, colour coding cleaning and correct chemicals
• Liaising with reception services to coordinate the allocation of accommodation
• Coordinate on daily basic cabin check in order to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met and cabins are up to company's standards
• Training staff to ensure that the organization’s high standards are maintained
• Arranging laundry and linen supplies
• Ensure the proper use of machineries

Requirements

• At least three or four years of hotel or prior ship experience in a comparable position
• Excellent command of English language
• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar sumbject will be considered as an advantage
• Good level of computer literacy using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
