COMMIS DE CUISINE
Commis de Cuisine on board 4* and 5* river cruise ships that sail along European Rivers. The Commis de Cuisine is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen. He/she ensures that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet restaurant's specifications and commitment to quality, while maintaining a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen. He/she works under the supervision of the Sous Chef and the Executive Chef.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least three or four years of hotel or prior ship experience in a comparable position
- English speaking skills
- A flexible and motivated team player and a high degree of social competence
- Follows proper procedures when disposing food
- Maintains timely preparation, food finishing and garnishing food
- Ensures that heath and hygiene standards are followed
