Position Summary:

The Web Producer is responsible for the complete project life cycle and serves as the business owner for any projects impacting the Royal Caribbean consumer website(s).

Career Snapshot:

  • Drives strategy with other departments, creative agency and IT to ensure we developed web experiences that create a bond between customers and our brand online by reinforcing our brand identity.
  • Manages web projects to ensure the web applications are delivered based on the business requirements and consumer feedback. Ensures project milestones are met and the project stays within the budget.
  • Develops feature/benefit analysis and revenue/cost savings projections.
  • Gathers business and technical requirements through collaborative sessions with the agency, IT and other departments.
  • Works with Market Research to determine the voice of the consumer is included in the web experience.
  • Manages the development of a proper flow and information architecture by the agency and IT.
  • Manages the web creative development with the agency.
  • Works with IT and the agency through the coding and unit testing of web projects.
  • Responsible for conducting user acceptance testing of all web projects.
  • Coordinates with the Associate Producer to ensure content entry for the project is done within the timeline needed by IT.
  • Coordinates project launches with the agency, IT and other departments identifying any operational impacts and user training needs.
  • Responsible for the support of promotional, tactical and search initiatives on the consumer website.
  • Coordinates development and implementation of home page banners and promotions.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of Limited Time Offers and Hot Deals.
  • Coordinates development of search optimization techniques with IT and search agency.
  • Serves as a back up for all emergency updates and alerts for the website (24/7) support.
  • Serves as a back up to answer consumer e-mails for web support on the website
  • Monitors the competition, customer feedback and metrics to determine enhancements for the consumer website.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years experience in Product Management or Product Management Certificate.
  • 4 years interactive marketing and/or e-Commerce website(s) experience; moderate technical background required

Preferences:

  • Marketing / Business major / Graphic Design or Information Technology preferred
  • Experenice in Web project management desirable.
  • Interactive Agency experience preferred
