Marine Centre Surveyor

THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the worlds’ leading Classification Societies to the maritime and offshore industry, due to continued success and growth our client is now looking to recruit an office based Marine Centre Surveyor based in Newcastle, UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support clients with technical class and statutory requirements by phone
• Liaise with a global network of internal employees
• Plan and organise classification surveys for field surveyors and clients
• Complex resolution and problem solving of issues that require technical expertise
• Provide excellent service by phone representing the companies values

THE PERSON

This is a junior position, the ideal candidate will be qualified to a HND in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture as a minimum with a seagoing background as an engineer, excellent written and spoken English with a strong aspirations to become a Surveyor.
