We are looking for Casino Cashier to work on cruises ship
A casino cashier is the hub for the financial transactions at the casino. In order to do this job, you have to know following guidelines:
Function : The cashiers cash out slot tickets, gaming chips and make any foreign exchange.
Balancing : The cashier must reconcile the window at the end of the shift. This requires keeping accurate records of transactions.
Drops : The cashier's responsibility includes accounting for the casino cash drops as well as customer transactions.
Personality : The cashier is one of the faces of the casino. Good people skills are necessary.
Credit : The cashier knows how to do transactions involving casino credit lines, credit card withdrawals and debit card withdrawals, and he/she understands the possible reasons for declines, so can explain them to guests.
Physical Requirement : While performing the duties of this job, any cashier may be regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. Also he/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 Kg. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. A cashier must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and safety drills.
General Requirements and Documentation: 20 - 35 years old - Valid Passport - STCW’95 Certificates - Yellow Fever Vaccine Certificate - Update Police Clearance - Previous letter of employment (cruises or land based casino) - Fluent English. Experience: at least 18 months as a Cashier (on board or land base Casino).
