Our General Managers are calledHotel Directors and Associate Hotel Directors, and work onboard for 4 monthsfollowed by 2 months of paid vacation, for a total of 4 months paid vacationper year!  This is just one of the exciting benefits of this career atsea.

Responsibilities in thisrole:

• General Manager / Hotel director onboard ourships of up to 1.400 rooms and suites, 1.000 hotel employees, 20 food &beverage outlets, shops and theater venues.  
• Oversee the day to day operations of all hotelrelated areas of the ship with emphasis on revenue and guest satisfaction,housekeeping, food & beverage, entertainment and guest relations.
• Assist in the strategic planning, financialforecasting, crew employee satisfaction deliverables and overall guestsatisfaction focus
• Achieve the highest levels of guest satisfactionunder all circumstances, through effective communication, leadership, followthrough and leveraging of the team’s ability to resolve issues effectively
• Consistently works from an entrepreneurialperspective to develop and implement new ideas for revenue and financialstewardship
• Creates a climate of trust and mutual respectand promotes a culture of nurturing employees, open communication, team player,innovation and walk the talk.
• Consistently evaluates the team against thebrand’s Modern Luxury concept
• Ambassador for the Corporate Office and driverfor the Brand Identity
