Overview:

The primary responsibility of this position is trunk show sales. This individual will be reviewed upon his or her ability to generate revenue and profit through their trunk show sales. Candidate will be responsible for covering the mid-Atlantic and points beyond, at Sea on Cruise Ships. The Trunk Show Independent Representative is a commission based position requiring travel. You will be a key member of the Brand, traveling extensively, internationally on cruise ships at sea. You are not an employee of Color Jewels, Inc. You are an independent contractor, compensated to represent the Brand on Cruise Ships, between their international ports of call.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Traveling at sea, for up to 4 months per contract, with 1-2 month vacations in between.
  • Inventory check, with shop manager at the beginning and end of each voyage.
  • Weekly sales reporting, with inventory update.
  • Representative will set up all merchandise in the shops showcases, in a fashionable clean manner.
  • Representative will conduct lectures, seminars, and raffles to increase sales on board.
  • Representative will conduct inventory control on a daily basis in the shops at sea.
  • Representative will arrange and distribute marketing collateral accordingly to promote more sales.
  • Loading and unloading marketing collateral on & off board, from the cruise ships.
  • Representative will attend confirmed Voyage dates accordingly, & on time
  • Show time: Attend every show, Night or Day (when out at Sea) during event, he/she must interact with consumers and show host, visually merchandise product, arrange marketing material accordingly, Speak & Present the product, build energy with Raffles and surprise special discounts, track sales and ensure all items are accounted for, packed appropriately, and returned back to the office safely.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with hosts and consumers. He/She is responsible for creating positive contacts for Color Jewels, Inc. in all circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • All proper customs documents to travel & work on ships in the US, Caribbean, and Canada.
  • Personality traits: Honest, trustworthy, outgoing, social, enthusiastic, energetic person with a professional demeanor, as well as strong sales & negotiating skills.
  • Proficient with Word & Excel- Technologically savvy enough to track sales through inventory database.
  • Active at show – Create a buzz surrounding the Color Jewels, Inc. Jewelry Line.
  • Sales orientated, Self-starting, Good Speaker, Ability to multitask, committed to serving the customer & providing Great customer service

Compensation:

Commission based on of all retail sales. (Sample Contract provided upon request)

  • Travel expenses (Transportation, & Hotel) are covered by CJ, Inc.
  • There’s Room for future growth, with a strong, fast growing, international company.
  • Ability to make upwards of $50K in first year
