Bartender European River Ships

Description:

Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional beverage service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

• Practicing GCCL values
• Providing professional beverage service in dining room and lounge area
• Responsible for the “mise en place” and hygiene of bar/ lounge area
• Good knowledge and understanding of bar menus / cocktails, mixology and wines
• Any other duties advised by Restaurant Manager/Hotel Manager

Skills/Qualifications:

• Hotel school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably on river/ocean ship or in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel
• Cruise ship experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and progress
• Fluency in English
