Job Title: TV Operator / Broadcast Manager
Department: Engine
Reports to: Chief Electrician

As per Chief Electrician's instructions responsible for:

  • The Broadcasting System on board
  • Positioning of satellites and antennas
  • Reparation of TVs, DVDs and remote controls
  • Maintenance of all electronic equipment and systems
  • Familiarization with the SMS - Safety Management System and Company policies and procedures

Education/Experience

  • Valid STCW Certifications
  • Extensive experience in similar position on board ships
  • Basic knowledge of phone systems
  • Good computer skills
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Physically and medically fit
  • Moral integrity required
