Internet Specialist, P&O Cruises Australia

We are currently on the lookout for an Internet Specialist to join Australia’s most iconic cruise line, P&O Cruises Australia.

The Internet Specialist is responsible for providing a high quality guest experience, managing all communication and internet access services for our passengers and crew.

Main responsibilities include:

• Selling internet services to passengers by assisting them to select the most appropriate internet services package to suit their requirements
• Proactively assisting guests and crew with access to the internet through both the ships terminals and wireless access
• Trouble-shooting and resolving guest and crew queries in a timely manner
• Care of all computers, printers and equipment in the internet centre
• Providing on-board education seminars (small groups)

Successful candidates will bring experience in a direct customer facing IT support/troubleshooting role, technical knowledge of MS Windows operating systems, great relationship building and interpersonal skills, strong English communication skills, together with a sense of fun, a smile and an ability to thrive in a team working environment.

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, medical cover and uniforms are provided.

Please note employees of P&O Cruises Australia are required to be at least 21 years old, possess a current unrestricted passport (valid for at least a year) and international applicants eligible to apply for an Australian Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) and Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). All crew members are required to successfully clear an ENG1 Medical before commencing onboard.
