Location: At Sea
Salary: £5,328-£6,452 (€5,929 - €7,179)
Hours: 3 months on and 2 months off rotation.
Further Details: 3R Global are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Hotel Services Engineer. It is a great opportunity to join one of the most well-renowned companies in the cruise industry.

What you will be doing:

• As Hotel Services Engineer you will lead the on-board maintenance team and make sure that the appearance of all passenger and crew areas is maintained to the highest standards.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will make sure defect correct is prompt and completed in the mist cost effective manner.
• You will work together with the Hotel General Manager or delegated representative regarding the prioritization and execution of repair and maintenance work in all hotel areas, including front and back of house hotel, food and beverage, entertainment, and laundry areas.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will make sure the management of technical issues is prompt
• You will oversee the maintenance of all hotel machinery, systems.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will work closely with the Senior Technical Storekeeper to make sure there is enough stock of spare parts and consumables are held on board to cover planned and unplanned maintenance at all times.
• You will make sure all assigned projects are completed in a timely manner while guaranteeing highest standards are maintained at all times.
• You will schedule weekly meetings with the Hotel Departments to review progress and agree on work prioritization.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will complete performance appraisals making sure they are objective and accurate.
• You will monitor costs, expenditures, and inventory of the assigned areas of operation and consistently achieves targets within established budget.
• You will be working with the Hotel Department, maintaining an ongoing Hotel capital expenditure and Hotel repair and maintenance project list.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will oversee the safe operation of all hotel machinery in accordance with the Code of Safe Working Practices, promulgating a strong safety culture at all times.
• You will verify that all hotel technical aspects of port health authority requirements, policies and guidelines are met at all times.

What you'll need:

• You must have Technical qualification at OND or HND level or equivalent
• You will have a minimum of two years' experience in hotel or hospitality industry maintenance;
• You will have the ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals;
• You will have excellent technical knowledge to be able to manage, supervise, and guide officers and tradesmen of varying levels of expertise.
