Fleet Public Health Officer

Location: At Sea
Salary: $6500 per month
Hours:The position is rotating throughout the ships of the fleet, approximately every 2 weeks, typically between 4-6 months travelling from ship to ship, with up to 2 months' vacation in-between.

3R Global are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Fleet Public Health Officer. It is a great opportunity to join one of the most well-renowned companies in the cruise industry.

What you will be doing:

• As Fleet Public Health Officer you will effectively communicate with both shipboard and shoreside personnel to facilitate correct interpretation and application of public health policies and procedures.
• You will provide support for a wide variety of public health emergencies including disease outbreak prevention and mitigation
• As Fleet Public Health Officer you will conduct audits of shipboard and shoreside public health programs and activities to verify compliance with applicable requirements
• You will conduct shipboard public health training and identifies areas of service gaps
• As Fleet Public Health Officer you will comply with all ILO requirements
• You will always comply with HESS MS policies, Operating Line procedures, other Company policies and relevant governmental regulations

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, the Biological Science or a closely related field
• Shipboard experience in implementing Public Health programs and procedures may serve as substitute for education requirements
• Candidate must have at least five years of experience with Public Health and or Environmental Health systems
• Ability to interpret and execute relevant Public Health information
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Command of the English language, both verbal and written
