Costa Crociere is seeking for the HQ of Genoa a Legal Matters Specialist
The resource we are willing to interview will be asked to provide the necessary support for carrying out all activities related to the Legal Department, dealing mainly with the following activities:
- drafting, revision and negotiation of different types of national and international commercial agreements with suppliers, distributors, agents, consultants in general;
- implementation of contract models used by the Company and creating new negotiating tools to support business functions;
- supervise the management of claims, in support of Operations Department;
- handle all the needs of a corporate nature and managing all the ordinary and extraordinary activities during extraordinary transactions
- drafting of documents concerning the activities of the Legal Department and other corporate functions;
- cooperation with outside counsel/external law firms representing Costa Crociere worldwide, for the purpose of managing lawsuits and arbitration proceedings;
- jurisprudential research on databases and drafting of legal advices.
Job Requirements
The Candidate must expressly possess the following requirements:
- Master's degree in Law with a final mark of at least 105/110.
- Admission to the bar, as well as the possession of one or more I level degree Master, are preferential qualifications;
- previous experience of at least 2 years in structured national or international law firms, gained (at least) in the fields of civil, commercial, corporate and international law;
- previous experience in legal offices of multinational companies, matured (at least) in the fields of civil, commercial, corporate, international law and, in particular, of international contracts in various capacities will be considered a plus;
- strong motivation, great precision, attention to details and strong passion for the legal sector;
- strong interpersonal, communicative and organizational skills;
- proactive and solutions-oriented approach, even in situations of great uncertainty and stress;
- attitude to team working;
- excellent command of Microsoft applications, Microsoft Office tools, web browsers and e-mail applications;
- fluent knowledge of English language both written and spoken.
