Hotel Engineer / expedition mega yacht

Experienced HOTEL Engineer is required to join the World’s First Discovery Yacht SCENIC ECLIPSE

Contract 3 months on/off - rotation

Embarkation -  first half of September 2018

Wages ( in USD/per month worked ) will be advised to selected candidates only, upon interview!

Education/Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

• Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer Unlimited CoC ( STCW Reg.III/2 )
• Extensive experience in similar or subordinate position on board cruise ships/mega yachts
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Excellent management skills
• good references/recommendations
• AZIPOD propulsion experience is a big plus
• Valid STCW Certifications
• Good knowledge of AMOS
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Physically and medically fit
• Moral integrity required
• Public Health, Sanitation and Environmental training courses are appreciated

Objective: 

Work leader for all work that is carried out outside the engine room

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of plumbing and HVAC system outside Engine Room maintenance
• Coordination of air-conditioning system outside Engine Room maintenance
• Maintenance to include (but not limited to the following):
• Galley & pantry equipment
• All fixed fire-extinguishing system for Galleys
• Laundry machinery and equipment
• Black and Grey water system outside the Engine Room
• Deck machinery, mooring and anchor winches and deck cranes
• Life Boats and Tender Engines and propulsion system
• Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi machinery
• Sauna and Spa equipment
• Chlorine dosing equipment for fresh water and potable water system
