Our client is a European cruise line, looking for a Safety Officer to join their fleet. Offering a variety of interesting itineraries and a competitive salary, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Rotation 4 months on/2 months off

The Job

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with all operations of arrival and departure on the bridge
• Responsible for all tests and inspections for safety equipment
• Organise and oversee services for tender 
• Responsible for training all firemen and fire squads on-board
• Instructs Deck Officers and other senior crew according to ISM procedure

The Candidate

• Minimum requirement of Chief Officer (Unlimited)
• Substantial experience as a Safety Officer on-board a passenger vessel
• STCW Crowd & Crisis Management
• Valid medical
