Future Cruise Consultant

The position of Future Cruise Consultant is responsible for assisting and optimizes sales of future Silversea Cruises (Classic & Expedition) and related shore side products and services to guests onboard. The Consultant will work in team with the Future Cruise Manager assisting with the sales process once first contact has been made by the Future Cruise Manager. 

In addition this position will work directly with guests Onboard to provide a personalized luxury customer service experience.

• Excellent selling skills
• Excellent administrative skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Other languages are considered an asset

Previous on board experience is preferable. 

• Assisting Sales
  (Selling of future cruises (Classic/Expedition Fleet) and related shore side products and services)
  
  • Assist with the sales process once first contact has been made by the Onboard cruise consultant manager
  • Follow-up pro-actively on leads within 24h from first contact made.
  • Cruises quotes creation and in suite delivery
  • Maintain high sales opportunities through the sales process
  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale and exercise upsell opportunities throughout the life of the onboard guest relationship
  • Sell consultatively, using active listening skills, and make recommendations to prospects and clients
  • Quickly apply new skills and multi-task to achieve peak levels of performance.
• Sales Targets
  
  • Meet assigned voyage sales as communicated through the ’Incentive Plan’
  • Manage a sales-focused workload, meet productivity goals, and optimize the selling process through pro-active customer contact.
• Other duties
  
  • Assist with embark/debark and ship visits
  • Assist with organising of Welcome, Farewell, First Time and Venetian cocktail receptions
