Technical Superintendent

We are working for a leading Cruise company based in the USA who are looking for a Technical Superintendent (Ship Manager) to join their Marine shore side team.

It is essential that you have the existing right to live and work in America (American passport or Green Card).

You will be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of their assigned vessels.

You will also have responsibilities to encourage and innovative ways of meeting and exceeding the company's stated goals and objectives.

This position requires someone who is result driven and thinks strategically whilst keeping the "big picture" in mind.

The Marine Operations Manager will cooperate with the Hotel Technical and Refurbishment department, shipboard and shore side, on operational issues and projects impacting the Hotel and Marine areas of responsibility.

You will also be working with the New build department when required to develop the new ship designs with the proper feedback and support from the Operational perspective.

Requirements;

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited College, University or the international equivalent, preferred.

5 years cruise industry experience and /or relevant experience as Naval Architect or Marine Mechanical.

Engineer and/or experience with a shipping company, classification society or similar. Chief Engineer's license and sailing experience preferred.

Reward

$100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus and Benefits depending on experience.
