It takes many different technical specialisms to deliver our amazing entertainment shows onboard P&O Cruises day in, day out. We are looking to attract the very best Assistant Manager Production – Lighting to help lead our teams to deliver the West End to the Sea.
You will have the opportunity to deliver all technical aspects of lighting operation across a number of venues, from designing lighting for large theatre shows to exclusive cabarets and musical programmes. You will also be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s health and safety guidelines and regulations.
We believe in allowing everybody the opportunity to stretch themselves and allow them to grow and so you will have the chance to develop your career by learning from your colleagues in sound and automation, with the potential to deputising for the Production Manager as and when required.

- Relevant industry qualification in Lighting or relevant work experience
- Use of AMX control systems in a live environment
- Programming and operation of lighting control consuls
- Operating, maintaining and repairing lighting systems
- Good Health & Safety knowledge within Production and experience working with Risk Assessments
- Previous experience supervising others is desirable
