We are looking for a Pool Supervisor to help us ensure the he safe supervision and cleanliness of the pool and surrounding area, following all service standards and department policies and procedures.


Primary Responsibility of the Role:

  • Provide the highest level of passenger service, maintaining high standards and striving to provide passenger satisfaction. Ensure passenger safety while in the pool and/or the deck area, by monitoring the pool area at all times. Respond to any situations / incidents safely and promptly.
  • Keep the pool deck area clean and tidy and clear away food and beverage service items such as rubbish and used towels regularly. Assist in setting up the pool and surrounding deck area with sun chairs laid out and correctly positioned at start and end of day. Ensure the area is stocked correctly with towels and supplies, replenishing when necessary. Inform line manager of required supplies and any equipment related issues.
  • Open and close the pool area appropriately and in liaison with the Deck Department.
  • Regularly attend Sail Away parties and other corporate sponsored social events, interacting with passengers as part of regular work duties.


Experience / Qualifications needed for the role

  • Competent swimmer, able to swim 100m both on front and on back
  • RLSS Emergency Response (Swimming Pools) Qualification or equivalent ideal
  • Previous experience of working as a lifeguard in a swimming pool environment ideal but not essential
  • Experience of dealing directly with customers
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Must be fully vaccinated
