Partk West is holding interviews in Vancouver and Edmonton, Canada in November for Sales Associates to work in their renowned onboard Art Galleries on several luxury cruise liners. These positions provide compelling compensation package and an opportunity to grow with excellent career advancement potential, all while working onboard a luxury cruise ship while travelling the world!

 

As an Art Sales Associate, you will be part of an energetic team delivering unforgettable art experiences onboard luxury cruise ships. Working alongside the Gallery Director and Principal Auctioneer, your main role is to connect with guests, create interest in the onboard art program, and support the full sales process — from lead generation to invoicing.

No background in fine art or galleries is required — training is provided and mandatory. We’re looking for charismatic individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for creating memorable guest interactions. This is a sales-driven role, perfect for people who are adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Curate and set up art displays, including moving artwork and pushing trolleys (art can weigh up to 50 lbs).
Engage with guests and educate them about the onboard art program.
Manage the full sales cycle, from conversation to invoicing and follow-up.
Stay punctual and professional, especially during guest-facing events.
Participate in all mandatory shipboard safety training and drills.
Remain open to feedback and commit to continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications

Minimum age: 21 years.
Fluent English (C1 level).
Public speaking and excellent communication skills.
Energetic, charismatic, and comfortable engaging with people.
Sales, cruise, or hospitality experience is a plus — not a requirement.
Able to handle physical duties such as setting up displays and moving art.
Strong team player, professional attitude, and comfortable with a dynamic work environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Guaranteed weekly base pay + commissions (after 30 days onboard).
Meals, accommodations, and travel to/from the ship are included.
