Assistant Destination Manager (Assistant Shore Excursion Manager) required for Windstar Cruises!

We are looking for a Assistant Destination Manager (Assistant Shore Excursion Manager) to join Windstar Cruises!

Summary:

The Assistant Destination Manager is available to support the Destination Manager in order to deliver a high quality Shore Excursion program and achieve revenue targets and ratings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest possible quality of destination engagement on board.
• Assist in the delivery of the shore excursions on board for individual guests and groups
• Attend the destination talk on each port of call each evening
• Sell shore excursions, private cars, and act as concierge when needed
• Suggest tours to match guest with expectation
• Escort tours on a daily basis to make sure it is matching the published descriptions and ensure the highest possible service quality.
• Prepare and maintain tour escort packs.
• Coordinate embarkation and disembarkation, including dispatch of transfers and tours.

Requirements:

• STCW 4thPart Basic Training
• SDSD (Seafarers with Designated Security Duties)
• Experienced public speaker
• Valid Seafarers Medical

Must have ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a highly diverse environment and able to execute operational imperatives in a swift and demanding environment.

Salary paid per month worked   + Incentive Scheme
