Able Seaman (MY 100m+) (Min STCW II/4)

An experienced and qualified Able Seamen is required by a 100m+ vessel. The right candidate should hold minimum STCW II/4 COC and have all necessary qualifications, travel documents and certifications up to date. Reporting to the Bosun the ideal candidate must work well within a team and perform a role within the deck department according to the highest standards and procedures. Candidates are to be able to demonstrate a longevity onboard a large yacht and have good references to match.

You are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. This is a rotational position. The rotation schedule is 4:2.

You must have experience as a Deckhand / Able Seaman on a yacht or cruise ship over 50m for 2+ years to apply for this role.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Minimum 1-2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
• Minimum STCW II/4 CoC
• Good set of skills, knowledge and ability of all deck related work including painting, polishing, cleaning, line work, tender driving, navigation, safety & water sports
• Good health and good sobriety
• Must speak fluent English
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• No visible tattoos
