We are looking for STOREKEEPER with ship experience.

Responsibilities
As a Storekeeper, you will be assistant to the Assistant Inventory Controller. Responsibilities
include issuing materials for the Hotel Department.
Essential Functions:
• Check the hotel stores to ensure tidiness and stores are free from old or loose materials.
• Ensure that every item issued has an internal requisition and only the items written on the
requisition form are issued.
• Responsible for ensuring all items are put in the correct storeroom with assistance from
the hotel department.
• Execute weekly inventories of hotel consumables, chemicals, equipment and uniform
stores.
• Prepare all regular hotel consumable and chemical orders and submit these on time to the
Inventory Controller and the department head for review.

• Coordinate with the Assistant Inventory Controller / Inventory Controller and hotel
department heads on the preparation of monthly requisitions for the hotel department.
• Keep track of the uniform par levels and make suggestions for future orders.
• Issue uniforms on crew sign-on day, according to schedule prepared by Inventory
Controller to all departments on board, following the company uniform standards and
procedures.
• Assist with loading received items onto vessel.
• Responsible for area’s safety, cleanliness, operation.
• Attend all department meetings.
• Mandatory attendance at all assigned shipboard drills and emergency activities.
• Create and implement ideas that will generate / increase revenue and / or reduce costs
for the company.
• Perform related duties as required. This position description in no way states or implies
that these are the only duties to be performed by the shipboard employee occupying this
position. Shipboard employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties
assigned by their supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
• Two – year associate or equivalent in Hotel Management and Business Administration.

Experience:
• At least 3 years’ experience as Hotel Storekeeper in a recognized hospitality
establishment or Cruise Line.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with high volume of food and beverage purchasing is
required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience implementing and setting up food and beverage
storerooms is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be trustworthy professional who can design and implement an inventory tracking
system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Must have a good rapport with different departments onboard as well as shore-side.
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and analysis of large
amounts of data.

Ability to speak fluent english and Spanish
