Your responsibilities

• Providing advice and information for guests on cycling excursions; sound knowledge of the ship and its moorings also required
• Selling and accepting bookings for cycling excursions
• Preparing and leading cycling excursions
• Facilitating fitness classes and supervising guests who are using gym equipment
• Repairing and maintaining cycling equipment
• Giving advice on standardised treatments and massages, selling and administering these to guests (crew
• by arrangement)
• Conducting standardised fitness checks and advising guests
• Selling and presenting all SPA services in public areas
• Presenting SPA services to guests on the first day of the cruise
• Cross-selling in the SPA area
• Providing expert advice for guests who wish to use gym equipment and facilities
• Monitoring gym equipment and checking that it is working properly
• Assisting the CM department with activities on board (games on the sun deck) and helping to compile the daily programme
• Safety and hygiene inspections of entire SPA-ROSA
• Ensuring that the entire SPA area remains clean and hygienic; carrying out daily/weekly
• cleaning/general cleaning
• Taking a monthly inventory of SPA sales, treatments and sporting goods
• Daily RCC control and evaluation
• Independent development of SPA promotions to increase sales; organising and realising these
• promotions on board
• Analysing sales figures in cooperation with the hotel manager

Your profile

• Successful completion of vocational training as masseur/physiotherapist (m/f/d) enabling you to give professional massages and body treatments
• Training as fitness instructor/course leader (aerobics or meditation) also desirable
• Additional training (e.g. specialised body treatments, hot stone massage) desirable
• Professional experience in hotel gym and wellness area or comparable

• Excellent knowledge of German and English enabling you to approach guests, offer fluent advice and give guest presentations
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and a basic understanding of analysing sales figures
• Manual skills enabling you to maintain and repair bicycles
• Talent for motivation, persuasion and selling
• Resilience, flexibility, team skills and sense of responsibility
