Assistant Waiter

We are recruiting Spanish speakers, only from the following countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Chile.

An Assistant Waiter on a cruise ship plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. This position requires a combination of specific attributes and responsibilities to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Previous Experience in Food and Beverage Service: At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume or fine dining establishment, is required
• Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
• Language proficiency: Strong verbal communication skills in English and Spanish are required (advanced or proficient level)
• Age: Candidate must be at least 21 years-old at the time of application (candidates below 21 will not be considered and will automatically be disqualified)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support senior waiters by setting tables, delivering food and beverages, and clearing tables promptly and efficiently
• Greet guests, respond to their inquiries, and ensure their dining experience is pleasant and memorable
• Ensure that dining areas, including tables and serving stations, are clean and well-organized at all times
• Assist in taking and delivering orders accurately, ensuring that guests receive what they requested in a timely manner
• Serve beverages, refilling glasses, and ensuring guests have everything they need during their meal
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints from guests promptly and courteously, escalating to senior staff when necessary
