Front Office Staff:

This is our entry level for any higher position. Can be used as a step stone, if you show great initiative and do an excellent job – there are opportunities for promotions.

You will be the front line of the Cruise Line and it is outmost important that you are well presented according to our strict uniform policy and manners. We are a six star luxury line and we only want the best of the best.

We are looking for a person with a natural glow who is eager to assist in all matters with a big smile. A person who is dedicated and able to stay on top of things even though there is continuously new information distributed. The Reception Desk is the main information desk onboard and you will receive all sorts of questions from our guests.

Front Office Routines:

  • Distribute information
  • Check in-/out of embarking/debarking guests
  • Pay in-/out of guests accounts
  • ou will have a cash float of $10.000 which is your complete responsibility
  • Complete account sheets daily
  • Answer the phones
  • Take wake up calls

It is extremely important to be accurate and have order, as it can be very vital if you forget a wakeup call for example and the guest misses his flight or morning tour…

Salary: $2167 per month (vacation pay included)
Contracts: Approximately 5 months and 2 months off
Working hours/shifts: - 4 Front Office Staff - Approximately 9-10 hours a day - CS: Split shifts; 07:00-12:00 and 17:00-20:00/21:00 or 12:00-17:00 and 20:00-24:00/01:00 - CY: Split shifts; 07:00-12:00 and 17:00-20:00/08:00-20:00/09:00-13:00 and 19:00-24:00/12:00-17:00 and 21:00-01:00

Living conditions: Share cabin with one other staff from appropriate department.

IPM: A certain amount of crew need to stay onboard in case of emergency. This will rotate between crew in the same safety group.

Uniforms: Will be given out the first day onboard; consisting of jacket, blouse/shirt, skirt/pants. Shoes must be bought prior to boarding; neutral beige with heal for ladies and black shoes for men. Pictures will be sent prior to boarding for guidance.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship and in a 4/5* Hotel or Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the German language is required.
