Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas to Princess standards, from classic Margherita and pepperoni to daily specials, ensuring consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
• Hand-toss dough and manage the full pizza production process in the top-deck pizzeria, strictly following company recipes, portioning, and preparation methods.
• Monitor ingredient usage and stock levels for daily production, minimizing waste and promptly informing the Chef de Partie Pizza of any fluctuations or shortages.
• Supervise and support Commis Pizza Chefs during mise-en-place and service, providing on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pizza recipe files and preparation guidelines, ensuring they are accessible and clearly communicated to all assigned staff.
• Share responsibility with the Chef de Partie Pizza for managing costs and achieving budget targets in the pizzeria, in line with guidance from the Chief Baker and Executive Chef.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve production methods, baking techniques, menu knowledge, and product holding practices to enhance quality and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and public health standards are consistently followed in the pizzeria, maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work area at all times.
• Deliver friendly, efficient service on deck, engaging with guests where appropriate to enhance their dining experience and uphold Princess service standards.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pizzaiolo in a high-volume, hand-crafted pizza environment, ideally with exposure to Neapolitan-style production.
• Formal Pizzaiolo certification or equivalent professional training (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Neapolitan pizza techniques, including dough fermentation, shaping, topping, and baking at high temperatures.
• Good understanding of different pizza styles and flavor profiles, from traditional Margherita and pepperoni to specialty and seasonal creations.
• Proven ability to work efficiently during peak service while maintaining consistent quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and public health standards, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Strong guest-service mindset, with the ability to engage warmly with guests and contribute to memorable onboard experiences.
• Motivated, positive, and resilient, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively within a diverse, multicultural team, demonstrating respect, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
