Job Title: Project Manager (Fixed-Term – Parental Leave Cover)

Contract Duration: Until December 2026 (with potential for a permanent position)

Overview:
I am recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the cruise and maritime industry for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their team in Hamburg. This is a fixed-term role with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position depending on future project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation through to delivery
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors for seamless execution
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, documentation, and progress reports
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships
• Perform risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Measure and report on project performance using established tools and techniques
• Prepare supporting materials such as spreadsheets, process maps, and presentations

Requirements:

• University degree in Project Management or a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
• Background in the cruise and/or maritime industry strongly preferred
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Commercial awareness and understanding of industry-specific regulations is a plus
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Project), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
