Laundry Technician

Position Summary:

The Laundry Technician shall carry out the work orders given by the Facilities Manager/ Repair Supervisor. They are skilled workers and must be able to carry out all kinds of maintenance and repair work. Attend meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required. Shipboard employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to trouble shoot and repair washers, dryers, ironing system and understand steam and plumbing systems.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Technical certification or training in laundry equipment maintenance or a related field. (Preferred but not Required)
