Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and creative Photographer to join our onboard team. You will be responsible for capturing unforgettable moments for our guests throughout the cruise, promoting photo and video products, and contributing to revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator in both English and German, has a passion for people, and is motivated by results.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality guest photos in various onboard locations and events
• Promote and sell all photo products and services (prints, digital, photo packages, etc.)
• Set up and operate photography and studio equipment, including digital SLR cameras
• Participate in Photo Gallery operations, including editing, printing, and display
• Support internet operations, wristband sales, and “MSC for Me” App functions (if applicable)
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to achieving sales targets
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the photo gallery and workspaces
• Attend onboard trainings and contribute ideas for sales and service improvement
• Follow daily work plan and report to Assistant HUB Manager

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of DSLR camera use and studio photography
• Basic photo editing and computer skills (familiarity with MS Office, internet applications)
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred
• High energy, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm to engage with guests
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multicultural team environment
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable
• Knowledge of English and German at minimum B1 level is mandatory
• Cruise ship or travel industry experience is a plus
