Main Function
To generate and secure future cruise sales by assisting current Guests with planning and booking their next MSC Cruises vacation while onboard.
To provide professional and personalized service, understand Guests’ travel preferences and recommend the most suitable itineraries, ships, staterooms and travel options while achieving assigned sales targets.

Qualifications
Fluent in oral and written English (working & Safety language of the Company).
Fluency in at least two additional European languages, preferably Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish or French.
1–2 years of experience in a sales-driven role with customer service responsibilities.
Strong sales orientation with excellent communication and customer care skills.
High School certificate or equivalent.
Previous experience on a cruise ship is an advantage.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office and related computer applications.
Knowledge of Fidelio Cruise System is an advantage.
Confident, energetic and outgoing personality with the ability to approach and engage Guests.
Ability to work independently, meet sales targets and perform effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To actively approach and engage current Guests to identify potential future cruise opportunities and understand their travel preferences and requirements.
2. To advise Guests on suitable itineraries, vessels, staterooms, experiences, travel dates and available booking options according to their needs and budget.
3. To promote and sell future MSC Cruises in order to achieve assigned weekly and monthly sales and revenue targets.
4. To initiate conversations with Guests, follow up on leads and prospects, and actively identify new sales opportunities.
5. To provide accurate and professional information about MSC Cruises, destinations, itineraries, onboard experiences, promotions and booking conditions.
6. To process and manage future cruise bookings accurately and efficiently in accordance with Company procedures.
7. To coordinate booking-related actions with travel agents and the relevant local country contact centre when required.
8. To explain available promotions, offers and booking conditions and assist Guests in selecting the most appropriate option.
9. To collect required booking information and deposit payments in accordance with Company procedures.
10. To print and provide Guests with booking confirmations and other relevant documentation.
11. To maintain accurate records of sales activity, bookings, leads and follow-ups.
12. To provide regular reports and sales activity updates to the Corporate Team and Hotel Director.
13. To maintain a high level of Guest satisfaction throughout the sales and booking process and build long-term Guest loyalty.
14. To represent the MSC Cruises brand professionally at all times and maintain a positive, confident and enthusiastic approach when interacting with Guests.
15. To work closely with other onboard departments to maximize sales opportunities and ensure a seamless Guest experience.
16. To comply with all Company policies, procedures, safety regulations and onboard standards.
17. To perform other related duties as assigned by the Hotel Director or relevant management.
