Repairs Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Repair Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing various equipment and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Repair Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that all repairs are carried out to the highest standards.
Duties
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues.
• Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot problems effectively and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and organised, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Experience
• Proven experience in repair work or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between sites.
