Your Purpose

The Maître d’Hotel manages the assigned Dining Outlet operations, motivating and coaching all Dining Service Team members to provide exceptional service to the Guests.

Your Impact

• Ensure compliance with quality and sanitation standards and procedures in all restaurants, crew mess rooms and room service.

• Supervise, coach, evaluate and motivate the Dining Service Team.

• Handles and resolve guest complaints regarding dining quality and service.

• Conducts daily Team briefings or meetings.

• Contributes to cost control through close monitoring of the inventory.

• Supervise and monitor the correct application of food safety procedures and food quality requirements related to all processes.

Your Journey So Far

• Previous experience onboard Luxury/Premium Cruise lines.

• Extensive experience with diverse Luxury/Premium hospitality venues in the dining operations.

• Previous experience in Start Ups/Pre-openings is an advantage.

• Intermediate knowledge on food safety.

• Excellent management and organizational skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.

• Proficiency in Computers. Microsoft programs to include but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel.

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Any additional European language is considered an advantage.

Your Essentials

• Passport, visas, certificates as specified by the company and as required for exit from the port of origin and entry into the destination cruising area.

• Food Safety/HACCP certificate required.
