SPA Attendant

Your Purpose

The Spa Attendant primary responsibility is to maintain the order and general cleanliness of the locker rooms, fitness areas and wellness area, according to standards implemented by the company. Provides guests a locker room and wellness area orientation and other related area tours. In order to consistently exceed Guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Your Impact

• Executes all tasks assigned by his/her superiors

• Attends and actively participates in all scheduled training sessions, daily briefings and meetings

• Set-up and maintain locker rooms, wellness area, toilets, treatment rooms. If required, welcome area, outdoor relaxation area and replenishments of refreshments.

• Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in busy times and general coverage when necessary

• Responsible for garbage disposal before the shift ends and ensures that all garbage is separated in accordance with Public Health regulations in the Recycling Centre.

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment

• Follow the daily check list of the Spa and reports any engineering issues to the Manager.

• Ensure all operational and guest supplies are fully stocked at all times (all amenities, linen, accessories, etc.)

• Retrieve fresh linen and terry items and deliver dirty linen and terry items • Retrieve, deliver, and store/set-up products from purchasing in respective storage areas

• All spa areas to be kept immaculately clean and well maintained at all times

• Able to give tours of The Spa facilities to guests and be familiar with hotel and spa services and hours of operation.

Your Journey So Far

• High School diploma or similar preferred.

• One year in same position or similar. Cruise ship experience preferred.

• For safety and others on board, certain physical abilities will be maintained.

• Must be able to climb, bend, perform repetitive motion and eventually heavy lifting.

• Must maintain physical fitness to perform tasks associated with performed role.

• Possesses finesse, personal flair and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Any additional European language is considered an advantage.

Your Essentials

• Passport, visas, certificates as specified by the company and as required for exit from the port of origin and entry into the destination cruising area.
