Dry Docks Manager – Cruise Industry

We are working with a leading cruise line to recruit a Dry Docks Manager – a pivotal role responsible for planning and executing technical dry dock projects across the fleet. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maritime professional with strong technical, project management, and leadership skills to make a direct impact on vessel performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all planning, scheduling, and execution of dry dock projects for assigned vessels.
• Manage budgets, timelines, contractors, and shipyard operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Coordinate with technical, marine, hotel, and operations teams to align dry dock activities with fleet requirements.
• Oversee shipyard negotiations, contractor selection, and vendor performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in dry dock planning, efficiency, and cost control.
• Ensure all works comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

About You

• Extensive dry dock / ship repair experience, ideally within cruise, passenger, or tanker/LNG/LPG sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required for projects.
