Joining date 9th of October /2025 , Contract 6 months On / 10 weeks Off
Main responsibilities:
In addition to those normal duties as outlined in the V.Ships VMS, the Electronics Technical Officer (ETO) is responsible for:
· Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and managing spares for various equipment including navigational systems, internal communication systems, external communication systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, etc.
· Utilising ShipSure for equipment maintenance (PMS) and spares ordering (procurement)
· Maintaining the working area clean, safe, and handling tools and equipment with care
· Participating in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List
· Adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during work activities
· Adhering to and complying with all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives
· Performing duties and tasks according to above but not limited to that.
Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities:
· Attend passenger social events as directed by the Head of Department.
· Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as directed by the Head of Department.
· Other shipboard tasks pertaining to departmental operations as directed by Head of Department.
· Attending trainings and office visits arranged by V.Ships Leisure where possible
