Dental Assistant – Shipboard

Position Summary:

• Provide dental assistant services to guests and crew, supporting the dentist in all aspects of dental care and emergencies.
• Collaborate with the medical team under the Senior Doctor to maintain high-quality health services.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Assistant license and diploma.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry assistance.
• BLS certification (valid through contract).
• Intermediate–advanced English proficiency.
• Complete record of dental activity since graduation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist in procedures, reporting, and maintaining dental records.
• Provide hygiene education, dental cleanings, and emergency support.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Manage inventory of dental/medical supplies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Support medical staff during emergencies and participate in lifeboat drills.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards of guest service.
