Cruise- Resident Band Vocalist

We are looking for a Resident Band Vocalist to join an exceptional group of musicians on a boutique, luxury cruise line.

Competitive rates of pay, 2 months on 1 month off rotation 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate competence in all aspects of your musical performance
• Develop knowledge of the musical programme, adapting setlists to different themes, events and passenger demographics as directed
• Rehearse and play for all musical activities and in all venues as directed
• Collaborate with other musicians and guest entertainers where required
• Ensure all personal musical instruments and equipment are properly maintained
• Deal with or report maintenance and passenger issues to the Musical Director
• Ensure all areas of work are kept clean and tidy

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:
• Attends passenger functions as required by Head of Department.
• Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as required by Head of Department.
• Ensures that the set standards are kept, and staff members work according to their respective job descriptions.
• Demonstrate the Saga Values.
• Provide Exceptional Experiences every day for Guests and Colleagues

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Professional level of musical and vocal skills with the ability to perform a wide range of musical styles and solo shows
• Minimum of 150 song repertoire in various styles and genres suitable for Saga Cruises using both sheet music and backing tracks
• Strong ability to collaborate and perform with other resident musicians
• Strong people skills
• All certificates as required by the STCW code for this position.
• Good command of the English Language
