Sanitation Officer needed for Sea Chefs!

German speaking Sanitation Officer needed!
(1) Responsible for the compliance of all work flows within the hotel area with the agreed regulations regarding security, health, hygiene and environment (USPH/HACCP, ISM/&ISO, SQM, TUIC Service standards), with special regard to foodstuffs storing and processing, in close cooperation with the General Manager, the Hotel Manager and the Deck & Engine Department.
(2) Overall responsibility for the Integrated Pest Management on board, including orders for the respective equipment.
(3) Ensure adherence to the standards laid out in the “Environmental Compliance Plan (Save the Waves)” within the hotel area (including MSDS sheets).
(4) Close cooperation with the Hotel Manager, including regular reporting, immediate corrective action and reporting in case of interruptions and malfunctions of the work flow; with special regard to Galley equipment.
(5) Demonstrate presence during main service hours.
(6) Support at and participation in all Public Health Inspections, together with General Manager and Hotel Manager.
(7) Responsible for the strict adherence to all regulations regarding temperature, dish wash, pot wash and cleaning logs.
(8) Responsible for the strict adherence to all regulations regarding cleaning utensils and chemicals on board
(9) Sanitation trainings for new crew and staff as well as refreshment courses for the whole crew.

(11) Implementation of supervision tools fort he Department Heads
(12) Checking and implementation of quality standards within his/her work area
(13) Always aim at continuous improvement, especially with regard to SOPs and Manuals
(14) Active implementation of the philosophy behind the product
(15) Works with ship management in the implementation, required procedures and execution for the case of an outbreak in accordance with the company’s outbreak, Prevention plan (OPP). Corrects, in cooperation with Hotel Manager and Financial Controller, deficiencies resulting in an outbreak and implements procedures to prevent any re-occurrence.
(16) Preparation, implementation and regular checks of logs and check lists

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
